Welcome!

The title of our blog is taken from Psalms 17:5, "Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not."

The Fossil Creek Church of Christ is devoted to walking in the paths of the Lord. All men should be concerned enough for their soul to make sure they're walking (behaving) in ways pleasing to God. And because it's always possible for our steps to slip we have to exercise great care in making sure our conduct matches what God has outlined in His Word.

The apostle Paul was aware of this possibility when he wrote to the Corinthians in 1 Corinthians 9:27, "But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway."
